National Taiwan University of Science and Technology Regulations for Early Graduation of the International Advanced Technology Program


Article 1 In accordance with Article 26 of the University Act and Article 37 of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology Academic Regulations, the “Regulations for Early Graduation of the International Advanced Technology Program” (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulations”) are hereby established.


Article 2 Students of this program who, in the semester or academic year preceding the minimum period of study, have completed all required credits for graduation may apply for early graduation. In addition to the aforementioned requirement, applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:
1. The average academic grade for each semester must be at least 80 or a GPA of 3.38 or higher.
2. The student ranks within the top 10% of their major department each semester.
3. The cumulative average academic grade must be at least 85 or a GPA of 3.76 or higher.


Article 3 Students who meet the criteria outlined in Article 2 may complete an application form and submit it to the program. After passing an initial review by the program and a secondary review by the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Division, the application shall be submitted to the Dean of Academic Affairs for final approval.


Article 4 The Regulations shall apply to students enrolled in the program from the 2022 academic year (academic year 111 in the ROC calendar) onwards.


Article 5 The Regulations shall be implemented following approval by the Department Affairs Meeting. The same procedure shall apply to any amendments.
