Summary

Most of students faced the culture shock due to the languages and differences of cultures when they just arrived. However, after a few months, students feel more familiar and comfortable with the cultures, people, food and languages of Taiwan. Our mentors and staff are eager to help newly arrived international students settle into their new life in Taiwan! Students overcome homesickness and become stronger. Studying abroad is a good way to train students become independent. It is also a great opportunity for students to discover themselves while gaining an understanding of a different culture. Being in a new place by themselves can be overwhelming at times, and it tests students' ability to adapt to diverse situations while being able to solve the problem.
