Due to COVID-19, all the students in the program can't go back to their countries. Therefore, IATP is going to open a summer course, Fundamentals of Research Methodology and Practice for students to take.

The purposes of this course:
1. To introduce the basic concept of research methodology that applies in academic and practical research.
2. To introduce the methods of conducting research processes, designing research strategies and preparing research reports.
3. To do a small project in the lab based on the topics professors assigned. (For students to experience lab experiment in advance.) 

The contents of this course:
1. Introduction to Research Methodology
2. Research Paper: Finding, Reading and Paper Presentation
3. Experimental Design
4. Final Research Presentation

You will learn how to find the research paper and the general structure of research paper, etc first. After the basic lecture, you need to try to find papers and make the experiment in the lab based on your own research topic. We will hold a seminar on campus at the beginning of September. You need make the final presentation and conference poster and introduce to the participants.
