During the fall semester of 2022, IATP students visited the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI/工業技術研究院) and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TSMC/台灣積體電路製造) in the Introduction to Engineering and Engineering Ethics course. By visiting these institutions, students are able to get a glimpse of the high-tech industries of Taiwan and learn more about the research fields they are interested in. Besides visting the institutions, the students also made Hakka Lei Cha (ground tea/擂茶) by themselves to experience the Hakka culture.
